Summer Camp for KIDS!
Summer is just around the corner and Camp RidgeKidz Junior is the BIG EVENT your kid can’t afford to miss! Serioulsy, we think that Camp Ridge Kidz Junior might be the BEST week of your kids summer!
That’s a bold claim – but time and time again – we meet people who talk about how a week of VBS or Summer Camp changed EVERYTHING for them. For many people, this week is when they first connected the dots in their faith in Jesus. There’s something special about camp where kids connect with God differently than on church on Sunday.
For that reason – we want to invite your child to join us for Camp Ridge Kidz Junior – an amazing adventure for kids 3 years old through 2nd grade!
Camp Details
At Camp RidgeKidz Junior, we’re going to run to camps side by side:
- An age-appropriate camp program for 3-5 year olds
- A high-energy and fun-filled camp program for K-2nd graders
Camp RidgeKidz will run Monday, July 15 – Thursday, July 18
- Doors open at 5:40p
- Camp begins at 6:00p
- Camp ends at 8:30p
- Campers need to be picked up no later than 8:45p
Registration is open now and will close down on Sunday, July 7!

What about me? I’m a teenager or adult, can I come to Camp Ridge Kidz Junior?
Why yes, you absolutely can! Camp RidgeKidz actually can’t happen without amazing teenagers and adults who love Jesus and love serving kids! If you want to invest a few hours in the next generation (and have a blast while doing it), you can register yourself when you register your kids (or just register yourself if you don’t have any kids to register)!

Where is Camp RidgeKidz Junior?
Camp RidgeKidz Junior will be held at The Ridge Community Church in Mineral Bluff, GA. Camp Ridge Kidz has exclusive use of the entire church during camp week!
What grade do I register my child for?
Register your child for the grade they are currently in (2023/2024 school year) or their current age at the time of camp (July 15-18). At Ridge Kidz, we offically promote kids into their new grades after the summer.
Who are the leaders/volunteers?
Our leaders and volunteers love Jesus and kids. They are background-checked, trained on safety protocols, equipped to care for kids, and to share the gospel. Our ratios are roughly one volunteer to four three kids.
Who is in charge?
The Ridge Kidz staff team will be running Camp Ridge Kidz. Kenny Conley, the (interim) Kids Director, is a 25 year veteran of Children’s Ministry and has run summer camps like Camp RidgeKidz Junior for kids for 20+ years.
Can I request that my child be in the same group as his/her friends?
Camp is an amazing time to make new friends. You can list friends in your child’s registration. We organize groups by age/grade. We do our best to accommodate all requests.
Can friends/siblings in different ages/grades be in the same group?
While we prefer to keep kids with their age groups, we can make exceptions. However, we usually put the older friend/sibling in the younger child’s group.
Do you provide snacks for kids? What if my child has allergies?
Our snacks will be posted at the registration table the week of Camp RidgeKidz Junior and emailed to families before the start of Camp. If your child has food allergies, please provide an alternative snack for him/her if you see a snack he/she can’t eat.
Can my camper arrive late or leave early?
Though we highly recommend your child stay the entire duration of camp each day, we can accommodate special requests. Please let the Ridge Kidz staff and your child’s group leader know ahead of time.
When is pickup/drop off?
Registration and dropoff (as well as pickup) will happen in the worship center lobby and worship center.
If there is an emergency, how can I get in touch with my child?
We will have a phone number available to staff/directors during camp for emergencies. This number will be provided the week before Camp Ridge Kidz!
